Personal Profile

Chief technical officer (CTO) and highly skilled director of technology and innovation. Knowledgeable in all aspects of new and emerging technologies instrumental in creating innovative and bespoke solutions for several major players and guiding them to market. This includes working with manufacturers such as HP, IBM, Microsoft and Citrix to implement advanced clustered and virtualisation solutions, developing tuned hardware for active directory and SQL clustering to provide 100% uptime deliverables and architecting global unified communications solutions with site-to-site VPN networking and VOIP solutions.

Being a conceptual and entrepreneurial thinker was foundational to these successes. My ability to produce innovative products is demonstrated by my extensive portfolio of inventions and patented designs, including sunlight readable displays, embedded computers and state-of-the-art gaming technologies. Of particular note is the microchip golf ball and its associated support infrastructures, which are now a leading concepts in the leisure industry and were foundational to the successful commercialisation of the popular ‘Puttshack’ and ‘Topgolf’ ventures.

I continue to apply my skills to developing exciting new concepts and technologies. I am always keen to develop strong ideas and build on them to help realise new products and markets, and I do so by emphasising characteristics that lead to products and support systems with easy expansion and growth potential. This means developing products that are not only safe, cost-effective, and high quality, but that are also manageable, maintainable and resilient in the long-term, making them highly attractive, low-risk investments.
